RibbonSummaryKaiya, an independant sixteen year old high school student, is trying to get through life after her father's death. She's forced to move into a foster home shared with the new kid in school- an icy loner who only seems interested in knowing her, with questionable motive. All to soon Kaiya finds herself in a world she never knew existed and part of a cycle she's determined to break. NoteRibbon is one of my only romance stories, and part of it is based off of a tradition I read about in Cardcaptor Sakura (so I'm afraid I'm not sure how valid it really is) where a person makes a teddy bear for a person they love, and the day it's named they tie a ribbon onto it. Whoever the person names the teddy bear after they will love forever. While I'm not sure of the validity of what Cardcaptors said, it inspired this entire story. I don't believe the tradition above is mentioned anywhere in the writing itself, it's simply some background knowledge for anybody interested. |
